Following are the two types of Hydraulic Filter Presses

Mechanical locknut type hydraulic closing device

In this type of system, the lock nut will be tightened and opened manually at the time of opening & closing of cylinder. Pressure will be maintained by manually locking the press.

Double acting motorized AUTO hydraulic closing device

In motorized hydraulic filter press, RAM of the cylinder is coupled with moving plate hence no extra man power is required for shifting the moving plate. Motor of the power pack restarts and stops automatically at lower and upper pressure cut off.

The system will be designed to automatically maintain the proper clamping force throughout the cycle.
